Viewing: Web 2.0 Glossy Button
We are now going to add a little shine to the button. Use the Rectangle Marquee tool and make a vertical rectangle about 10px wide. Hold the shift key and draw another one next to it about 3px wide. Fill that selection with white.
Change the Blending mode to Luminosity and turn the opacity to 40% and the fill to 70%.
Using the Free Transform tool (Ctrl+Shift+T) and rotate the rectangles diagonally.
Cut off the excess white by selecting around the shape layer and hitting the delete key.
